One of my favorite oils to incorporate into healthy habits is Melissa. She is a beautiful and precious oil. Melissa, also known as lemon balm, received its name because of its sweet, fresh, citrus-like fragrance, which was known to attract bees. Melissa is the Greek word for "honey bee".  

Melissa has a large array of uses and benefits. Most notably, Melissa has been known to support the immune system, as well as the nervous system. When taken internally it will support a healthy inflammatory response.

Melissa is said to awaken the soul to truth and light. Melissa teaches the joy of living. What a wonderful oil to remind us to come back to our center. This oil has physical, mental and emotional benefits.

This is one oil that I always make sure to have a backup of for emotional support, just a drop under my tongue each day to support a stable emotional environment.
